India 2019 - Family

The contrast between the experience of a lavish Indian wedding and the other side of my family, living in a much more rural, understated area was striking. Though I was not photographing layers of jewelry and expensive cloth, I was photographing the beauty of life — every day life — of people who, though I had barely gotten to know, are my family.
